Yes, the Diablo that Gandini drew looked like this. But the new management (Chrysler) decided to change certain things.
Luckily electronic music pioneer Giorgio Moroder and one Italian engineer created the Cizeta company and made handful of these with the original Gandini design.

That was what I was going after.
I don’t find the Cizeta to be particularly good looking car but I do like the fact that a production car with quad pop up headlamps was a thing.
